Featherstone Family Health Centre is a small semi rural practice in the South Staffordshire offering NHS Primary care services to the local population. Dr Riaz started working in this teaching practice in 2021 and took over the practice as the senior partner in January 2022. He works there along with the team of doctors and nurses to offer family medicine services.

Clickgp.net ltd is a Private GP service, offering video consultation service to the patients. The service registered by Care Quality Commission and is delivered by British trained, GMC registered highly skilled General practitioners. Service offers an affordable and accessible medical consultation through a modern video portal. Patients have access to their medical notes, they can speak to a GP 7 days a week and can get a prescription or a medical certificate, if clinically indicated. COVID-19 Physician, Sandwell & West Birmingham CCG

March 2020 till June 2021

Since the start of the pandemic, Dr Riaz has been working as a GP at the COVID-19 Red site offering face to face consultations to the COVID patients and home visits to the vulnerable house bound patients. The service caters for 800,000 patients in Birmingham and surrounding areas. This successful service has provided significant support to the local patients and significantly over stretched local health service.

Chief of Staff  KAUST Health

October 2014 till March 2018

Dr Riaz has been leading the KAUST Health operation of Dr Soliman Fakeeh Hospital since 2014. During his leadership KH has developed in to a model ambulatory health center offering variety of medical services to the community closer to home. KH also attained its first JCI Accreditation making it one of the first center of its kind to attain this accreditation in the region.

Consultant Family Physician KAUST Health

Sepetmeber 2013 till March 2018

Dr Riaz is still an active family physician and offers regular medical advise to his patients through pre-booked appointment slots. He is an experienced physician with special interest in acute and chronic internal medical cases. Since March 2018, Dr Riaz is a visiting Consultant at KAUST Health.

December 2006 till September 2013

Dr Riaz gained significant experience in family medicine by working as a GP in England. He worked as a partner and salaried GP at various primary care and hospital settings. He is visiting UK on frequent basis to work as a locum GP in various practices.

General Practice Training, West Midlands Deanery

January 2003 till December 2006

Dr Riaz was trained at West Midlands where he completed his three years training in family medicine. During his training he worked at Walsall Manor hospital and New Cross hospital Wolverhampton. He worked for 6 months each in General Medicine, Accident & Emergency, Paediatrics and ObGynae. It followed by 1 year of working as a GP registrar. he successfully completed his Membership of RCGP near the end of his training.
