Dr Adeel Riaz is an experienced family physician and a healthcare manager trained in the United Kingdom. He is currently based in the Midlands, UK, and operates his own family medicine practice, Featherstone Family Health Centre, in South Staffordshire. He is also actively involved in the teaching and training of young doctors and aspiring GP’s. Dr Riaz is also the Chairman of a growing charity Aghosh UK, which is working across the world to help those who are less fortunate.

Dr Riaz completed his training in family medicine from West Midlands deanery in England and has worked as a general practitioner in the National Health Service since 2006. As he had a special interest in internal medicine, he attained the Membership of Royal College of Physicians in addition to his Membership of Royal College of General Practitioners and Diploma in Cardiology.

Dr Adeel Riaz relocated to the prestigious King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia in 2013 when he was recruited by Dr Soliman Fakeeh Hospital Jeddah to work as a Consultant Family Physician at KAUST Health. He was later appointed as the Chief of Staff of the medical center to lead the clinic operation and to deliver world class health care service to the local community. Under his leadership KH developed into a modern holistic ambulatory care center offering range of primary and secondary care services. Dr Riaz led a team of around 180 staff including more than 30 full time and part time western trained Consultants. He also led his team to the first Joint Commission International Accreditation in September 2016, which is not only a seal of approval for quality of patient care but also considered a great achievement for an organization which was only 3 years old. 

In 2018, Dr Adeel Riaz with his extensive clinical and managerial experience relocated back to United Kingdom to work as a family physician in NHS. He is also a founding member of British Islamic Medical Association and works with them as a volunteer.
